LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!! Amazing Place! The Palazzo was a fantastic 2-floor combination (2nd and 3rd). We were in NYC for work and the place was the perfect mix of home and hotel. We are no newbies to NYC and felt that all the suggestions for dining and cocktails around the area helped us discover a few new favorites. My co-workers and I have voted this our favorite new location to rest or tired bones after long days of work in the big city!!! We are definitely fans, see you again SOON!

Such a great place to stay! The duplex was very comfortable and the location is unbeatable. We walked everywhere! Airbnb was beautiful, clean, and had great amenities (coffee, really nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash, laundry). Sudha is so easy to communicate with and responds right away if you need anything! I would highly recommend staying here. It definitely made my experience in NYC more enjoyable.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. This is a special place, protected (by amazing windows) from the hustle and bustle of NYC. Super stylish, clean and spacious. The layout of the top apartment was perfect for us and gave us enough room for my daughter to play in the living room while we cooked and watched from the kitchen. We rented two apartments they were split by a shared staircase, but it didn’t bother us at all – we rarely saw anyone and when we did it was Sudha and she’s a wonderfully warm human being. And in fact, it gave us a good way to have a quiet space for our daughter while others spent time upstairs. Thanks again for a lovely stay. I hope we’ll be back! Rhi & Family

This is a very quiet and cozy apartment in a great location! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. I loved the proximity to Madison Sq Park and the Union Sq farmer’s market. Communication was easy and fast with Brian, I definitely recommend staying here!

OMG, that was quite a story!:) My colleague was stuck in NY for an extra day and everything was booked and I tried to book him something at a decent price but nothing came out. And then I found this beautiful place and immediately booked. However, having an idea about pricing in NY made me a little suspicious because it was too cheap. Turned out the mistake has been made in pricing and the original price was twice more expensive. But Sudha honored our reservation and was extremely nice. That was literally a last-minute booking and she was very quick in responding to my messages. What can I say? My colleague texted me that he wishes he spent more time in this gorgeous place and how awesome the place is. And as a New Yorker, I can tell that the location is one of the best. Thank you!

This was a fantastic base from which to explore NY. The apartment was perfect for our family — just as described. Also, the hosts went above and beyond in arranging for perfect check-in and check-out processes despite complicated family timings (multiple flights, requiring bag storage, etc.). We stayed at Gramercy Townhouse and it was wonderful! A quiet retreat in the city due to all the sealed windows and doors! The only thing to note was the construction right next door but that was only during the day. Overall fantastic service, and would definitely return.

Sudha’s place was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The place is spotless, modern, and tasteful. Location is very central and convenient for all the best restaurants, grocery stores, and a park. Very comfortable and quiet, which was perfect for us. Upon check-in, we were greeted very warmly and even had our luggage carried upstairs at their insistence. All the furniture, appliances, and amenities one could need and more were provided. I would highly recommend Sudha’s place for anyone visiting in NY and looking for an amazing place. This is a very rare find for a rental in NYC. Already missing my stay there and hope to return soon!

I got to Sundays’ place after already being away on business for a week and I could not have asked for a better stay. The apartment was perfect! It was for myself and my co-worker as we were in town for a conference. It was big and comfortable enough for both of us with our own bathrooms in our rooms, which is key!! Also, there was a washer and dryer, which I desperately needed after already being away for a week. It was a close walk to our NYC offices and the conference. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town. We had constant communication and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Sudha’s well-appointed townhome was better than staying at a 5-star hotel. Sudha’s home was spotless, chic and very peaceful. It had everything we needed. The beds, pillows, and linens were extremely comfortable and luxurious. The location is one block away from the lovely Gramercy Park on a quiet street. We could walk to Whole Foods that was located a few minutes away and enjoyed Union Square Market. Sudha has s fabulous list of neighborhood restaurants which is so nice! I travel to NYC often and this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Brian and Alexa who helped with check-in/check-out were wonderful to work with and very accommodating! I will share this listing with ALL of my friends who need a home away from home in NYC!

We had a last-minute work stay and really lucked out that this apartment was available. Sudha responded instantly to my request to book and made our unexpected travel to NYC so easy and effortless. The apartment was perfect for my colleague and myself: we each had our own bathrooms inside our huge bedroom suites. Everything was immaculate but felt like home. The open kitchen/living area made it ideal to work, enjoy meals and relax for a little afterward. The apartment is quiet but still central – not even a 10-minute walk from Union Square so it was easy for us to get to our meetings and also some great restaurants nearby. My colleague loved the space so much he booked for a second night after I departed – we’re already talking about making this our home in NYC for any business travel and would recommend anyone looking for a comfortable business stay to do the same.

The Apartment was very spacious and the kitchen was fully serviced with everything you can need for china and cutlery. What works for Gramercy Townhouse is the location, which is unbeatable with access to many subway lines, a 19-minute walk to Union Square or Madison Square, and the great service provided by Brian, the manager. My stay was faultless except for the numerous police cars on the block which jammed up the traffic enough to prevent my cab from entering the street for a few minutes. Sudha told me that the NYPD headquarters is on the same block, so really it makes it a super safe block. I will definitely return because this is by far the best and most professionally run AirBnB in NY.

This is a beautiful apartment, it is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and decorated. The locations are perfect, excellent restaurants, easy to walk around and to access transportation to all the major attractions! We were very well taken care of and loved our time there.

The Townhouse is a wonderful and cozy retreat from the hustle-bustle of NYC but also very well located for all NYC has to offer. The Townhouse is a beautifully appointed and spectacular space for relaxing and getting away from it all. The triple-paned windows and balcony doors block out all the noise. The Townhouse is centered in the Gramercy Park area which is beautiful and in the midst of multiple, excellent restaurants.

Sudha’s place is absolutely gorgeous! So tastefully and thoughtfully styled, elegant and chic – it has a relaxing and luxurious feeling. It is located in a great neighborhood, and right near anything you’ll need – lots of bars and restaurants and not too far of a walk from Union Square shopping! 🙂 Sudha and her staff are kind, patient with every question, go the extra mile and so gracious in their hospitality. They met us at check in and showed us every little thing about the apartment and answered any question in the kindest way and met us at check out as well while helping us with our ride to the airport And storage for our bags through their local taxi service. We happened to have a rare find with Sudha’s place, in availability and price, because of a cancellation and as we looked for a last minute change in our hotel – but we would’ve paid the full price happily for the experience. ♥️

Had such a great, and posh, stay at Sudha’s. We had everything we could need as far as amenities. Her place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and very safe. If we needed anything she was quick to respond. The apartment is also basically soundproof from the city outside. I will definitely continue to stay with Sudha when I come back to Manhattan.

I recently stayed at Gramercy Townhouse on a mother-daughter stay in NYC. Townhouse looks exactly like the photos. The location is central to many activities, and grocery stores are closed. Brian, the property manager, was most helpful and pleasant to deal with when needed which was rare. Quiet street. I would definitely stay at this property again!

My son and I returned from New York City just yesterday. Gramercy Townhouse is a beautiful townhouse and Melissa was a wonderful hostess who made us feel right at home. However, I would be remiss not to note our experience started from the airport pick up we opted to include. Mali was a great driver and kept us informed of the traffic delays to pick us up. Once we got through LaGuardia traffic we were on our way! The townhouse is in a great, walkable neighborhood with easy access to a few subway stations, a few small markets, several diners and restaurants. Melissa made a few great recommendations on places to eat. We walked to a few different neighborhood restaurants for dinner and had breakfast at Gramercy Bagels a couple of times.

The townhouse is well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Despite a building tear-down happening close by, things were relatively relaxed. We spent most of our days exploring the city and had no plans to sleep in, so the morning work did not create any problems for us. The townhouse’s passive windows and doors not only insulated from the weather but from external noise as well. That was a huge plus.

We loved our stay in New York and will be coming back again either in the Fall of the Spring. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We decided we wanted to return to relive a little of our old NYC life. We rented this apartment and what a wonderful experience it was! First, the apartment itself was immaculate. The whole apartment was clean and well taken care of. It was also very well laid out for our family – we rented the Tesoro apartment so we had the garden and 2 floors. We didn’t feel cramped or all on top of each other. We had some breathing room for when we came back from those long days out exploring the city. Second, the apartment was incredibly well located. We were only 3 blocks from Union Sq. so we had access to the subway lines very easily. We had the farmers market and all the fabulous restaurants of the lower east side. This place was the best. It will be where we stay whenever we return to NYC!

I had a wonderful time staying in Gramercy Townhouse. Its location was fantastic, with great food and coffee places just on the doorstep. It was also surprisingly quiet, even on the front of the house where I had my room at street level, I wasn’t kept awake by the goings-on outside in the City That Never Sleeps. The Irish Pub just around the corner which happened to be showing the World Cup was ideal, and it is pretty well situated to get you anywhere you need to be.

Stylish and modern, the bathrooms were clean and nicely designed, and the beds were incredible. Despite the 30 degrees heat during the day, the air con kept us all nice and cool and I didn’t have a bad night’s sleep once. The garden out the back of the house is as pleasant as it looks in the pictures, and was a great place to take a bagel and coffee out to have a bit of shade away from the hustle and bustle of the city, although you can still hear it from there, which was quite a brilliant feeling.

The wifi (perhaps the most important aspect of any modern rental accommodation these days) worked perfectly without a hitch the entire time, overall 3 floors of the apartments we had.

Brian was brilliant the entire time, incredibly helpful both when we arrived and when we left and managed to give us a tip which helped us find the best breakfast we had during the entire stay (Friend of a Farmer, just off of Gramercy Square).

Overall I would highly recommend this location to anybody looking to stay in NYC.

Stayed in Gramercy Townhouse as a base in NYC before traveling upstate for a wedding. We rented two apartments for 9 adults and a baby. The apartments were wonderful and satisfied our needs. The kitchens were well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The position of Gramercy Townhouse is perfect for exploring New York. We were able to walk to many of NY’s attractions. There are plenty of great bars, restaurants and coffee houses nearby. The bottom apartments have a lovely little garden which is surprisingly quiet and peaceful in the middle of such a bustling city. Brian the manager was on hand and very helpful, telling us where to go for food, coffee, sightseeing, etc. and also helped out with the booking of taxis for airport transfer and the booking of cars to take us upstate. I would most definitely return to Gramercy Townhouse when in New York again.

Clean, modern and a well-furnished studio apartment. We had the two studio apartment joined with the common kitchen. In true New York style, the kitchen does not have a range for cooking. However, there are so many restaurants nearby and there is really no need to cook. There are a toaster oven and microwave. There are refrigerators and dishwashers.

The Townhouse is great for this – we had the super duplex apartment, Tesoro. The space they have is really carefully thought out and the apartment was equipped really well and furnished tastefully (my husband keeps going on about the dishwasher that projects its display onto the floor haha). Super that it had a garden that was accessible from both the sitting room and our bedroom. It’s in a great location with lots of restaurants and a fabulous bagel shop close by … as well as the Irish Pub just around the corner! We loved it so much that this year we are headed back there for Christmas day itself.

I really enjoyed staying that the Gramercy Townhouse. Myself and a couple stayed in the Fiore unit and it was EXACTLY as pictured and described. I was more than happy as well as my guests. It was cozy, conveniently located, had several restaurants, grocery and shops nearby, and the amenities were great (dishwasher, frig, washer/dryer, toaster oven, coffee pot, dishes, utensils, etc). The safety of the building and area was great too. The house is a passive house so it’s soundproof and the building is next to a police station. The French balcony doors were lovely. I felt very at home and comfort was important given I was running the marathon. The furniture was great too (Mitchell Gold sofa/beds). I can’t say enough nice things about Brian the property manager. He met us when we arrived and helped me set up a car service and answered ALL our questions. The owner, Sudha, stopped by as well and she was so gracious. When I scheduled the unit she was so helpful and kind. I can’t wait to stay here again! My only negative is the cost of the cleaning and the checkout time. We’re super clean peeps so $250 seemed a little high but I guess for most people staying in a 2 bedroom it could get really messy. Honestly no other complaints. For NYC this is the place to stay! I have stayed in a lot of 5-star hotels and some not so great places off Central Park. I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else in the future.

The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated, and incredibly quiet despite the noise of the city outside. Even though the temperatures were well below freezing during my visit the apartment was always warm.

The bed was very comfortable, the living room was perfect for relaxing and the garden in the backyard looked excellent for enjoying a cup of coffee and newspaper in warmer weather. I highly recommend Gramercy Townhouse and look forward to returning in the future.
